“Receiving Healing From Wounds”

“He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds” (Psalm 147:3).

In understanding how important healing from wounds is, Pastor Jentezen Franklin declares,

“Wounded people cannot truly worship. Hurting people hurt people. Wounded people live in the past. God wants to reintroduce the wonder. God wants to reintroduce Ωworship. God wants to reintroduce the witness and reintroduce doing more against the enemy and seeing him removed from our families. It is not God’s will for that wound to kill you. It doesn’t have to be a deadly wound. God can heal it!… Healing is a must. You must overcome this!”

This subject is so important, that I encourage you to listen to this 13-minute clip. Jesus clearly said why He came,

“The Spirit of the LORD is upon Me, Because He has anointed Me To preach the gospel to the poor; He has sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, To proclaim liberty to the captives And recovery of sight to the blind, To set at liberty those who are oppressed…” ‭‭(Luke‬ ‭4:18‬).

Turn to Jesus and be FULLY healed!

“Waking Up To Wonder”

I don’t know about you, but the hustle and bustle of the details can often eclipse the beauty right in front of me. As I leaned in my freshmen year of college from one of my favorite professors, the “Tierney of the urgent” must be discerned and diffused with what is most important. What calls the loudest for our attention is not always what matters MOST. Today, I am going to pause and intentionally LOOK FOR the wonder around me. I am going to stop and smell the flowers, marvel at the majestic mountains around and celebrate the gift of a healthy body. 🎁

Father, right know, please help me see the wonder all around me. Help me see through the eyes of a child with wonder again. Give us eyes to see and marvel in Who you are as the Wonderful Counselor. Surprise us with Your love anew!!! ❤️
