Truth: Admitting You’re a Sinner Doesn’t Humble You, It Hardens You
Bible Christianity Jesus Church Faith God Easter
Most Church people believe that admitting that they are sinners makes them humble because they are admitting some kind of a moral defect that they cannot overcome. They make statements like “I’m just a sinner saved by grace” or “I’m not perfect, just forgiven.” The reality is that Jesus sacrificed Himself to set us free from sin and death (Romans 8:1-4). If we are still sinners after we submit to Jesus Christ and born again in the Spirit, then what exactly did Jesus die for? Where is the Power of God? What exactly are we saved from?
