“3 Punch Knock Out”

“We urge you, brethren, admonish the unruly, encourage the fainthearted, help the weak, be patient with everyone. See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit; do not despise prophetic utterances. But examine everything carefully; hold fast to that which is good; abstain from every form of evil” (‭‭1 Thessalonians‬ ‭5:14-22‬).

Rejoicing always, praying continually and giving thanks in ALL circumstances are the combination to the lock of depression that imprisons the souls of those who disobey God’s commands above. He commands for our best and freedom! 🙌 Let freedom reign as we shine as His sons and daughters who have joy and gratitude that transcend any trial, test or circumstance!! 💡💫✨

“Dealing with & Disarming Disappointment”

“Disappointments are inevitable; discouragement is a choice.”

What has disappointed you in life friend? Is it a dream that is taking a lot longer then planned to come to fruition? An unexpected career change or demotion? A failed relationship with someone dear to you? The situations go on and on, but I have found the freedom to grow within any hardship or disappointment. I have discovered through many fierce trials that the words from Dr. Stanley are 100% true.

I have a choice every time disappointment comes regardless of how painful it may be how I respond. I can CHOOSE to act like a victim in accepting discouraging thoughts of despair and gloom OR I can turn my eyes to heaven to the Victor and walk in His eternal victory. The choice is always present moment by moment and day by day. What will you choose today?

 
I have heard it said we live one of two ways:

Green and growing OR Ripening and Rotting

“Life and death are before us. Choose life!”

 
The words of Dr. Ed Cole echo in my heart from his inspiring book, “Never Quit” in closing,

“We or disappointed in life, not based on what we find, but what we expect to find” (page114).

I have learned that greatest expectation to live by which will never disappoint is the unshakable reality that God is only good regardless of what is going on. 🙌
