Brothers and sisters please I beg you today to take heed to what I am going to speak on. In this age we have many different people calling out  and marking false teachers.  We are supposed to do so with spiritual discernment but let us look at who we are supposed to call out and for what reason.  Are they preaching Christ crucified? This is a resposibility of all believers as warned by the Apostles, but many have created an entire ministry in the calling out and marking various teachers. The Bible teaches that we are to call out those teachers that preach other than Christ crucified. His birth, His ministry, His death, His burial, and His resurrection.

1 John 4:2-3

This is What is Meant by Contending for the Faith

Jude 1:3-4

Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. For certain men have crept in unnoticed, who long ago were marked out for this condemnation, ungodly men, who turn the grace of our God into lewdness and deny the only Lord God and our Lord Jesus Christ. 

1 Corithinans 1:22-24

Now to the many who preach christ crucified yet teach a doctrine that does not align with the full counsel of God:

Philippians 1:15-18

Now why would Paul give us examples of calling out and marking yet speak these words as well? The answer is simple; if Christ crucified is preached then the Holy Spirit can work, and in this we are to be rejoiceful as God is being glorified.  We are not to suppress the power of the Holy Spirit and let Him work.

1 Thessalonians 5:19-21

I want to address something here for a moment. I was rebuked for speaking the words “Gods doctrine” the other day. Let me clarify why I do so with the words of our Lord.

John 7:16-17

Jesus answered them, and said,
My doctrine is not Mine, but His that sent Me.
If any man will do His will, he shall know of the doctrine,
whether it be of God, or whether I speak of Myself.

Is the sound doctrine we are to teach called the Apostle’s doctrine? Yes it is but it is still the doctrine they received from Christ and the Holy Spirit. Are they preaching Christ crucified?

John 14:26

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.

When I was accused of being a heretic and stated that I do not have understanding of God’s word, they revealed themselves as who they truly are. They were not being led by the Spirit of God. Saints, please take heed to these words.

I myself would never wanna stand before God almighty and hear these words;

..you told someone not to listen to _________ because they preached _________..
With me answering but Lord Lord _________________..
and I hear the question;
..Did they preach christ crucified?

I will end with this question. Are we calling out and marking those that are of the antichrist or are we calling out and marking those that preach Christ crucified yet they teach what we recognize as an incorrect doctrine? Brother and sisters please let us take heed to seek the truth in this matter. The measuring stick should always be are they preaching Christ crucified?

1 John 5:17

All unrighteousness is sin, and there is sin not leading to death. We know that whoever is born of God does not sin; but he who has been born of God keeps himself, and the wicked one does not touch him. We know that we are of God, and the whole world lies under the sway of the wicked one.
