answers- How do I find patience? Wisdom Watchmen Daily Devotion

Patience is how we grow as people. By patience we are conformed into a state of greatness and are able endure through all things. If someone was ever truly “great” they possessed amazing patience. When you recognize the value of life, the value of sacrifice, the beauty of true love…real altruism, you’ll find that patience has nothing to do with what others are doing but has everything to do with how much love you find yourself receiving.

For one cannot give love, which comes through patience, without first receiving love and patience. And it is when you tap into the ultimate cause and form of love, the Being from which love is manifested on the world, it is then you find that patience is of little concern bc in this state you no longer think of life as one you are living but it is a life in which your purpose is in giving and it is a life of unity and community we live in.

This is the patience found in freedom and the hope we are given. May these scriptures below bless you with patience throughout your days!

How Do I Find Patience?

Colossians 3:12-15

Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive.

And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful.”

Romans 15:4-7

“For everything that was written in the past was written to teach us, so that through the endurance taught in the Scriptures and the encouragement they provide we might have hope.

May the God who gives endurance and encouragement give you the same attitude of mind toward each other that Christ Jesus had, so that with one mind and one voice you may glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ. Accept one another, then, just as Christ accepted you, in order to bring praise to God.”
